#111 Ball

I went to a ball game last night. It was the New Jersey Jackals against the Ottawa Rapidz. The Rapidz are a new team here. We used to be home to the Lynx, but due to lack of turnout, they had to change cities and bring in a team from a lower level. But they are very good as far as I can tell!

#183 Uniform

It was little league night at the baseball game last night, so a bunch of kids in uniform paraded out onto the field before the game. Some players from the New Jersey Jackals were looking on.

#144 Big

One of the big lights at baseball diamond. (Finally a nice sky while taking a picture!)

#112 Ancient

These are antique skates that hang at my cottage. Apparently, you strap them to your boots. I don't think I'd be going to fast on those things!

#3 Soup

This is an old pot that sits on top of a piece of furniture at our cottage. I don't know if it ever was, but it was supposed to be used to put soup on the table. Now it contains Easter egg colouring supplies.

#238 Comfort

I know this is not a nice picture, but I like the idea of it. For the long weekend, (Victoria day) we brought Hamish to our cottage for the first time. My dad used to bring his dogs there all the time. As soon as Hamish got there, he plopped down on the favourite chair of my dad's old dog's.

#222 Perfect

These are some tests from my school year. A test reading 100% would have been better, but unfortunately, none of my middle school teachers mark like that. It was kind of fun going through my binder because there were things in there from the first term. I'm either really unorganized or super organized because I'm always thinking I'll need papers I don't, so I just keep them! So I use a rather large binder...

#31 Boat

These are some kayaks we have at our cottage. We bought two at first and we loved them so much that we went back and got 2 more. I love how colourful they are!!!

#91 Lonely

This hammock hangs at the cottage. This is pushing the theme a little, because it's more the kind of place you go when you want to be lonely. But it's very nice to just lie there.

#14 Wooden

These are very old-fashioned snow-shoes that hang in my cottage. We use modernized ones now, but these are neat. I use them at an outdoor education center my class goes to in the winter.

#361 Bell

This bell hangs at my cottage for a reason. My grandfather used to take his sons fishing on the lake, and my Grandma would prepare dinner. She would always ring the bell when it was time to come in.

#50 Fruity

This was over the entrance of some Bio store???

#268 Power

The stream moved so quickly, it was hard to take these pictures out of fear of falling in. It was loud and intimidating, but Isabelle couldn't care less. She was climbing all over and jumping around!

#269 Feet

Cristina's feet in a small pond.

#23 Water

Mont Tremblant is mainly a mountain and ski resort, but in my opinion the most beautiful part is also the most unused. Tucked away, there is this stream next to a nature path. There are rocks all around that you can either picnic or climb on. We did both.

I had so many water pictures to choose from but this was my favourite.

#113 Iconic

BeaverTails are definitely iconic to Canadians. For those who don't know, a traditional one is a pastry shaped like a beaver's tail. They add sugar and cinnamon on top. But my favourite is the one with Nutella and powdered sugar on it. YUM!

#235 Umbrella

Umbrella's outside a shop in Tremblant.

#236 Dog

We went to Mont Tremblant on Saturday. They have a lot of shops and we couldn't resist going in this one. The sign is in French but it says underneath the title: For "chic" dogs and mischievous cats. That was basically what it was. They sold items such as fleece lined harnesses and Ferrari shaped dog beds.

-Kate

#86 Telephone

We stopped for candy and a small convenience store and these old-fashioned telephone booths were outside.

#331 Green

These were garage doors on the way to my cottage. There were about 3 and looked as though they belonged to a business. The windows were the same colour. Lime green is my favourite colour, but this is a little too much.

#350 Signs

This weekend my friends came up to my cottage with me. We have to cross a ferry to get there. This sign has baffled my family for years and it was such an obvious one for the theme that my mom and I fought over it! The downer in this picture is that the sky was awful! But I couldn't resist posting it. The sign below is in French as this ferry is in Quebec.

If anyone has ideas about the one on the top, please tell me.

#36 Clouds

I thought of posting this under silhouette for a while, but I just love the little clouds in the picture.

#213 Running

Mungo the Westie running with Hamish after school. His long hair just flies when he runs.

#33 Stripey

These are the speed bumps used in my condominium. They are removed during the Winter so that the snow-plows can come through.

By The Way

The past few pictures have been taken using a new camera. I bought myself a canon elph yesterday because my old point-and-shoot is malfunctioning. (You may have noticed)

#308 Skill

After school one day, Giovana and I didn't have our bikes and Isabelle and Tina did. This was our (frightening) solution.

My new blog!

This is my new 366 in 2008 blog. I used to be a part of "foursome366" but we "chose our separate paths"...

Here is Critina's: tinas366.blogspot.com

I'll post a few that I did on the old one.
